Typically within hoursA licensed electrician comes out to see the panel, the space, or the issue in person before anything gets quoted.
Usually within 24-48 hoursYou get a clear price in writing before we touch a wire. If the scope changes on-site, we talk it through first.
Same visitWe pull any permits the job requires and complete the work on the date we agreed on, not "sometime that week."
Per your scheduled dateWe test every circuit we touched, walk you through what changed, and leave the work area as clean as we found it.
Before we leave the jobIf something we installed or repaired isn't working the way it should within 7 days, call us and we'll return to make it right at no extra charge.
BRC Electric, Incorporated started in a one-truck garage in Arvada in 2011, when owner Larry Harvey got tired of watching homeowners get quoted one price and billed another. Fourteen years later, that's still the rule we build the company around: tell people what a job costs before we start, and do it the way the code actually requires.
We're a general electrical contractor, which means our crew handles everything from a single dead outlet to a full panel upgrade or a ground-up rewire — the same licensed electricians either way, not a call center routing you to whoever's free.
Most of our work still comes from Arvada, Wheat Ridge and Golden, and a good chunk of it is repeat business from property managers and builders who've learned they can hand us a job and not have to check our work. We'd like to earn that from you, too.
"I still go out on the tricky panel jobs myself."
"Rewires are where I do my best work."
"I'm the one who keeps our quotes honest."
"Our panel was original to the house, from 1974. BRC gave us a flat price for the upgrade, pulled the permit, and had us back on power the same day. No surprises on the invoice, which is honestly rare."
"Installed our EV charger in an afternoon and explained exactly what the dedicated circuit meant for our panel."
"We use BRC across four rental properties now. Straightforward quotes and they actually show up on the day scheduled."
"A breaker kept tripping for weeks. Another company couldn't find it — BRC did, in about twenty minutes."
